Skylors
Armor
Submitted
by Alundra Chief Historian of Grey Haven
This is an article presented by Grey Haven for review after the attempted
assassinations of Imperia's famous leaders. This document was uncovered
outside the city of Waypoint. The document is unfinished after careful analysis
of it. Also, the true name of the armor was unmentioned, so they have been referred
to as "Skylors Armor" after the author of the document. The document
has been submitted for viewing in the Waypoint Public Hall by all whom are
interested.

Historian of Grey Haven
The Skylor Armor set is a magnificent four pieces of abnormal armament.
The creation of this armor has yet to be uncovered since the first appearance of
its use in the year seven hundred and fifteen, on the planet Imperia. These
armors have been so far noted to have the following abilities: they boost the
wearers abilities by a plus six in their power, also they take the inherit
ability of the wearer and magnify it by a tremendous amount. An example of this
would be a Shape shifter wearing this could bend and shape the armor at will,
say a sword extending from the back, or spikes all around the body; it could
even, if the times call for it, be shaped to form a perfectly workable gun (pieces
of the armor being used for ammunition). This
is so far the extent of the knowledge behind the Armors abilities towards the
wearer, but more on the history has been introduced.
The armor's were create by mages from five different covens. Each mage
placed their signature, aura, or even soul into the armor from which they
created. The fifth mage was present, so it reads, to hide away each piece of
armor. After the molding, wielding, creation of the armor that is what indeed
happened. Hidden away fro many centuries, the armor was finally discovered by
someone, but the person or persons involved were never mentioned. They were
noted to have hidden, again, the armor for an unknown reason. That is until its reappearance
in Imperia.
It has been researched that the reason four separate armors were created
was this, each piece of armor has a unique magical signature that is drawn to
one another. Meaning if the pieces were to ever be separated, when discovered
the wearer would feel an uncontrollable urge to seek the others, opening a
"Mind Synch" with other wearers so they may all find one another.
(This means they know where the other pieces have been or are currently, and
whom it is wearing the armor, but they can not communicate amongst each other)
When the pieces come together or in contact in the same area, the magic signature
changes. But the end result has never been discovered. It has though be said
that the personality or alignment of the wearers will change, dependent on the
stronger feelings. A good man would turn chaotic in thoughts if that were the
stronger of the personalities present with each wearer.
The only intriguing and annoying thing about the armor is that it changes
form, color, and look with each new wearer. Meaning the discovery of each piece
without wearing the piece itself is almost impossible, almost. Each piece of
armor has been branded by each of the mages whom created them. The markings are
all the same, a symbol of an eye. (much like an Egyptian `glyph eye)

The research was ended here. The full explanation behind Skylors Armor is
unknown but the document was submitted in hopes that it would help in the
future. Also, it has been commissioned that if at any point the armor's have
been uncovered and obtained, that they be placed in a museum immediately, after
study has been properly done upon them.
