Fantasy - Imperia is a hard role play to classify. We can be called both Medieval Fantasy (MF) and Science Fantasy (SF), cause we integrate the facets and concepts of classic "Medieval Fantasy" like elves, dwarves, wizards with Science Fantasy concepts such as airships. What Imperia does is unique, and because of that, no term we ever apply to Imperia will be accurate enough or do it justice to describe us. What is important however is that you enter with an open mind. We won't slice out the MF portion or SF portion to suit you. Everyone at Imperia is here because they are open about the setting. They don't call an elf a "Legolas" or an Airship an "Enterprise". If you are the type of person who likes to make snap judgments, closed minded assessments - who is going to label something without taking time to understand it - then Imperia is simply not for you.

Other channels, other groups, fall into or follow a specific category. They also suffer from the mistaken impression that "Science Fiction" means "Star Trek" and "Fantasy" means "Lord of the Rings". Imperia does not conform to those categories and we believe "Fantasy" to be the limitless form of expression that all true writers know it to be. It is ultimately your choice to accept Imperia's uniqueness.

If you cannot accept our request to be open minded, if you cannot open your mind to how Imperia is unique compared to most, and if it is far too difficult for you to accept Fantasy as "Limitless Imagination" then we are not the only game in town. 

    Before I show you what Imperia has to offer, I want to thank you for your interest in the Imperia roleplay setting. We always welcome new players, innovative ideas, and fresh perspectives. Although this information may seem intimidating, please be patient. If you have only seen the standard fare of roleplaying, be prepared to open your eyes. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask a channel operator on duty. You must also have a character approved before you start roleplaying.

    ATTENTION: The Forward and Back Sidebar buttons at the bottom of the Sidebar itself will display more sidebar buttons, as we cannot fit all the buttons on one page and need other pages to display the other buttons of the sidebar. The Academy button will take you back up to the Imperia Academy section. The following sections are listed per the Sidebar "Page" they occupy.
